Increasing Access to Justice for Members of the Public with technology-enabled solutions

About CLAP

The Community Legal Aid Programme, or CLAP, is a volunteer-driven programme that seeks to improve access to justice in The Bahamas by creating opportunities for members of the public to consult attorneys for free and by making legal information more accessible.

A collaboration between the Eugene Dupuch Law School Legal Aid Clinic, The Office of the Attorney General of The Bahamas, The Bahamas Bar Association and the Caribbean Agency for Justice Solutions,  CLAP’s goal is to use technology wherever possible to reach the widest populations and connect members of the public with much needed legal resources.

The Bahamas Bar Association

mission statement

With the support of its partners and volunteers, CLAP improves access to justice by leveraging technology to provide free legal advice and information to the public.
