Volunteer

CLAP relies on skilled volunteers from the community to provide its services. Persons with legal, administrative and organization skills and expertise are welcome to join the CLAP volunteer team.

When you give of your time, you are directly improving the lives of those in our community.

Volunteer attorneys can help by providing free legal consultations at Community Legal Aid Clinics and/or free legal representation. Volunteering law students and paralegals can interview applicants, conduct legal research, and assist CLAP volunteer attorneys with preparing for court or administrative hearings.

Volunteers with administrative skills are also needed to help coordinate legal aid activities and provide translation and reception services.
